Fans of shaky filmed footage rejoice as leaked video from the set of the new Batman film - The Dark Knight Rises - has hit the web featuring Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway in action.

Well, when we say 'action', we really mean that the pair can be seen shooting a scene which requires them to stand and chat outside Wollaton Hall in Nottingham - which is doubling as Wayne Manor - during a pretend torrential downfall.


Dressed in a dark red coat, Hathaway - who plays both the character Selina Kyle and her alter ego Catwoman in the film - can be seen taking Bale's hand and leading him down the steps of the hall as the pair (pretty much) get soaked in the rain.

The eagle-eyed amongst you will also make out Christopher Nolan, in his trademark coat, overseeing the action.

The latest Batman film will see Christian Bale reprise his dual role as Batman/Bruce Wayne. He will be re-joined by Michael Caine as Alfred, Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordon and Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, while Inception-stars Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard join the mix too.
